Mindfulness Meditation = Relaxation

Singing Bowl Meditation

Singing Bowl Sound Meditation is for all levels of meditation achievement, from beginners to "advanced" practitioner.  In each open meditation session mindfulness is practiced with Singing Bowl accompaniment. The session concludes with Loving Kindness meditation.  These sessions are presented on the third Thursday of each month at 7:30 PM., at 

The Fonseka Center (a Buddhist temple in Livonia, Michigan).

The Center is located between Six Mile and Seven Mile Roads on the West side of Inkster Road (closer to Six Mile Road). 

Padded chair seating is provided, along with mats and cushions.  There is NO FEE, but donations to the Temple are gratefully accepted.  Come and relax and enjoy the soothing energy balancing sounds of Tibetan Singing Bowls.  Such bowls have been used for centuries to help one relax, balance and re-energize through vibration frequencies created by the bowls.  Please feel free to invite your friends and family. A Singing Bowl "Sound Bath Meditation" consists of the tapping and enchanting of numerous Tibetan Singing Bowls.  As this is being done, you simply sit or recline in a comfortable position, and meditate to the tranquility of the Singing Bowl sounds.

"The Mindfulness Meditation System"  is designed for those individuals seeking to learn meditation or to improve their meditation practice.  In this session information pertaining to the roots, origin, and basis for mindfulness practice is presented.  Methods for carrying mindfulness in to ones every day life are presented and discussed. "The Mindfulness Meditation System" is available by appointment via Zoom .

About Me

Antonio Sieira, Ph.D.

I have been a practitioner of meditation for over 50 years, having attended numerous seminars and meditation retreats. My most valuable meditation experiences have been at a Buddhist Temple and Monastery  where I learned the history, the basis, and the science behind mindfulness meditation from the resident Monks.  I have completed graduate course work in religious studies with emphasis in Buddhism.  I hold both graduate and post graduate degrees in Special Education and Psychology. I am a  practitioner of hypnosis, and have multiple hypnotherapy clinical  certifications from the American Hypnosis Association.  My goal is to "teach the world to meditate for perfect harmony"!  I am the author and Teacher of "The Mindfulness Meditation System" (a copyrighted teaching system).

Meet "The Mindfulness Meditation System"

"The Mindfulness Meditation System" is a system of teaching meditation that emphasizes the principles of "neuroscience" and learning.   Through the teaching of gentle Qigong postures the student begins to associate the qualities of  balance, flexibility, breathing and conscious awareness with the "act" of mindfulness meditation.  Once these qualities are  established in the mind as "neural nets"  the practitioner easily transitions in to a meditative state.
